Spaghetti Science Fiction
« on: July 10, 2014, 10:56:04 PM »
Surfing on the web, I've found these websites about Italian Spaghetti Sci-Fi from '60 '70 years.  :D

http://www.golobthehumanoid.com/spaghettishrine.html

http://www.20three.com/2013/05/spaghetti-science-fiction/

Could be useful for some pulp conversions of some sci fi leagues ;)

I included here, because the style of these vintage films seem more about '30-40 years sci fi than '70 years.  :D
Here the main actor of "Star Crash" (1978)
Somebody remember him?  :D

Don't hassle the Hoff!

Shall I embarass myself publicly by admitting I own StarCrash on DVD? I mean, in theory, it's got a lot of whoa moments - Christopher Plummer, Caroline Munro and the Hoff, plus Space Bikini Amazons and a police robot, but still is utterly mediocre.

There are many fans of grotesque B-movie, isn't so strange  :D
I never seen one of these spaghetti sci-fi films, but from the pictures and some trailers they seem have a grotesque charm  ;D
Sure there are abundant sources of inspiration for some old style sci fi scenery, characters, villains and more pulp/vintage sci fi adventures. :D
I know that Tarantino has a special love for italian B-movie too  lol
