Cthulhu beasties I've painted.(photos gone, don't bother)

I'm in the very fortunate position to be one of the painters commissioned by Fenris Games to paint up the Cthulhu Wars pieces. I thought I'd put them all here.

Oh, and I think I should add the non CW Fenris Lovecraftian beauties I've done for Ian as well.

Beautiful stuff! Especially love the Mi-Go (?...). The yellows look unbelievably gross...almost translucent.  :-*

That's a byakhee, this is a Mi Go:

I applied basic gem/glass theory to get the yellow translucent effect (and on the Polyp and Shoggoth). The trick is balancing the upside down dark to light highlighting and getting the spots of pure white in the right place.

they are so good they almost put me off buying the minis because I know I can never paint anything a fraction as well as those.

And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

If I used that as my buying criteria I would save a lot of money.  lol
