VSF Tanks (early attempt)
« on: October 12, 2014, 08:01:59 PM »
These are among my earliest attempts (in the 90s) at making VSF tanks . The tanks are yellow toy bulldozers. The armoured plates are from GW, the gatlings are from Deadlands and the cannon are left over bulldozer blade supports. The smoke stacks are made from drinking straws and had to have their paint touched up. I got inspiration for these from a fun VSF site, the Steam and the Flame:

The fig is a 28mm Westwind.

I think they are delightful - You could toch them up with a few highlights and they'd fit any VSF/Steampunk battlefield!

Oh, pish posh. You speak as if the efforts of Ironclad, Tobsen, et. al. were a bad thing. Glorious golden age, if you ask me.

However, I do recall that thrill when the scales fell away from my eyes, and I first discovered that distant outpost commanded by the good Major General Tremorden Rederring...
