The skin-tone on those gangers is fantastic - like they haven't been exposed to ultraviolet light in an age! The conversions all look wonderful too, and it's always useful to see converted minis in the bare metal/plastic/greenstuff. Looking forward to seeing them all painted!

@Hawkeye - seeing the unpainted conversion is something I really like too - I love to see what work has been done and what parts have been used. Glad you like them :)

This is terrible...

Since re-discovering Confrontation and then finding your blog a few months back I can't stop obsessing over an idea I had for a lower class Hive Gang true to Confrontation.

But how can I justify shelving the other projects I have on the go, and how can I begin to approach Mrs Raedwald on this urgent requirement for yet more lead!!?

And now you do this to me!...

Superb as always - completely up my street. Can't wait to see this gang develop!

@Raedwald - I would frame it as an authentic historic learning exercise. Try and look for an educational angle, such as the impact of the punk movement on leisure pastimes and popular culture of the early 1990s. Once Mrs Raewald can see the importance of such study, she should have no issues.

I've painted up another pair of Confrontation gangers for my retro Necromunda gang (shotgun and lasgun). These are entirely unmodified apart from the addition of modern Victoria Miniatures arms (and the plastic lasgun of course). This puts the starting gang up to 50% completed. I'm looking forward to tackling one of the champions next.

More words and pics over at my blog.

The retro-Lasgun and striped trousers are nice touches - really make this archetypal Confrontation stuff, love it.

Nice work, the gang is coming along well.

What did I say earlier about Gangers, though?

I really like the choice of skin tone on these. It's almost like they haven't seen the sunshine for far too long :o :) .

Excellent stuff  8)

You've got to watch those pale and interesting hipsters. You never know what they might get up to :)

These aren't hipsters, hipsters have pointy mustaches!
No no, with those round beards hanging of the bottom of their chins there can be no doubt, these are definitely Amish.
I always knew they were hiding something! :D

Love the minis btw.
Great color choices and those striped pants are ace.

Cheers,
Stroezie.

Let's not get too hung up on labels - we don't want to pigeonhole people do we?! ;)
