Was that one of the Last Chancers I spy (well, formerly was!)? Good idea!

Spot on! He had the right trousers and waistcoat to make him fit in :)

That's a really good conversion, seamless!

A sort of micro-update today, being another small addition to the growing collection of fringeworld houses I'm building from Fogou Models.

This time, a bijou house with fun wall art!

It's really cool, the way you are decorating all these buildings is fantastic.

Glad you like the little building and the scenic setup!

I've dived back into the Helmawr Confrontation gang this week, with a trio of new fighters. From L-R: unreleased gang, leader sculpted by Jes Goodwin and an attendant converted from a Warhammer halfling.

That halfling conversion is simply a work of genius. I really had difficulties understanding what you had done first - and I mean this as a compliment. It’s a great conversion that isn’t immediately realized as such!

Thanks! A seamless conversion is really the ultimate ambition - getting to the point where you're not sure what has been done hopefully means I've executed it well!

In preparation for a game next week I've painted up another couple of classic Confrontation figures - this time a pair of Venator bounty hunters by Marauder miniatures. These are nice, chunky and characterfully sinister!

Here's a band of Venators seeking out their mark:

Its interesting to see how Necromunda evolved over time from Confrontation, masked Venators became Cawdor and Redemptionists, and Venator became a catch all term for a gang of bounty hunters.

Its interesting to see how Necromunda evolved over time from Confrontation, masked Venators became Cawdor and Redemptionists, and Venator became a catch all term for a gang of bounty hunters.

In the new Necromunda there is some nice background that essentially describes traditional Venator gangs as ritually donning hoods and masks, so it's there as a little self-referential piece. I like that nod to the older background as it suggests that there are traditions harking back to older times :)

Speaking of older times on Necromunda, remember when I painted some ash wastes nomads a few years back? I finally got round to painting the model with the chainsword to round out the set!

And just for fun:
