Sorry for the advertisement, here, but for those who are still looking for a campaign system to fight their Imaginations battles, my Wars of Insurgency has a complete system with all kinds of bells and whistles (okay, radio stations, propaganda campaigns, sympathetic newspapers, and more). Only $15 print, even cheaper in PDF.

Oh, and here is my own Chaos in Kammebalango Imagination played out using the combat rules (but not the campaign rules, which are much more refined now):

I bought it as a PDF. I like it, especially the none-linear campaign system. I haven't used it well but I think it should play really well.
Theres more 28mm Superhero Madness at my blog, http://fourcoloursupers.blogspot.com/
And for Ultra-modern Wargaming check out Hotel Zugando at http://ultramoderngaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Not exactly an Imagi-nation, but a what if. It is presented as a 1961 publication talking about world war 3 starting in 51 and lasting tell 1955 with a U.N. (Western) victory over the soviet union and its satellites.  Atomic weapons are exchanged, but not in a world ending way.
There are also articles about the war, and Russia dealing with no longer being a communist state.

The link is to an old weekly Magazine called Collier's Weekly
Its a nice bit of 1950s Americana, complete with period adverts and ideas making the magazine into 132 pages.
I found out about this magazine from a blog post article written in 2014.

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

In this update I reshuffle the Defense forces of Cascadia and make a long winded statement about my up coming wedding.   :D
And I also ask for ideas of what kind of cam pattan I should use for my Cascadian troops? Should I got with multi-cam (every one is going that way and they can then pull double duty as Americans in other games.) Or go for something completely different?
I will be using the Empress modern U.S. Rangers for the troops.

Did an update of my Republic of Zubrowka setting. Using the not just a Brush war book by Nordic Weasel.
Mostly its me giving the rules a trial run by rolling up the nations stats.

I'm far less creative than other posters but I do like the idea of Imagi-Nations. So as a great fan of Tintin I will of course use my version of Syldavia and Borduria as a background for games, where Syldavia is more oriented towards the West and Borduria towards the East. Forces from both countries will be deployed as peacekeepers, part of coalition forces, advisors or intervention forces in the remote Middle Eastern/Central Asian mountainous and arid nation of Derkaderkistan (Team America) but also in the African states Zangara (Dogs of War) and Buranda (Yes, minister).
My versions of Buranda and Zangara are located in West and/or Central Africa and were subjected to a lot of different colonial rulers (Spain, France, UK, Portugal, Dutch, ...). Both are unstable nations with a lot of natural resources.

I get the reasons for situating games in Imagi-Nations and agree with most of them, but for me it is also a practical choice: It allows me to use terrain for multiple periods/areas instead of having to build exact terrain replica's. Which is very good when you have limited space available but are unable to restrict your hobby activities to a limited number of periods or areas. Another advantage is stretching my hobby dollar/euro/pound further by being able to use plastic miniatures.  My modern Syldavians consist of Wargames Factory late WW2 German bodies equipped with weapons from Wargames Factory zombie apocalypse survivors and special ops sprues. They can use a mix of American, French, Italian and German vehicles (my vehicle collection is mostly 1/43 die cast). My Middle Eastern/Central Asian insurgents consists mostly of Gripping Beast plastic Arabs. Since I also use mostly plastic for my WW2 games, a lot of spare bits from those sprues get used in conflicts that came in from the cold.
