Could it be that you mistakenly only linked some thumbnails? I´m getting teeny-tiny pics without any option of enlarging.

Nonetheless, that which can be seen looks splendid. Troop carrier convertible. :)

That's not a military vehicle, it's a sharabang! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charabanc)

Just right for the works outing to Aberystwyth.  :)

Butlins' uniforms don't seem to have changed much then. The presence of small arms in the hands of the activity directors does perhaps explain the longevity of the holiday camp as a British institution.

The SdKfz7 and 10 can also be considered charabancs. Halftracked ones to be sure but still..

Come to think of it. Wouldn't a conversion be possible?

Willie, don't get too over-excited.

I';ve got a master for this from Crouchie already, it needs a bit of tidying up, and once I get my resin casting problems sorted out, it will be put into production.

BTW, its a big bugger!!!! :o :o

For those with a love of seaside trips in sharabangs how about this:

U.S. Coast Guard "Invader" Super-Jeep. They used them on the East Coast. Not much regular gaming to be had out of them perhaps, but could be used in Pulp U-Boat raid/espionage-type stories.

Though frankly I don't know why they bothered making a 10-seater jeep. Anyone who has seen documentary footage of the Eighth Air Force in East Anglia* knows that the 10-man crew of a B-17 easily fits into an ordinary MB/GPW anyway.

*Or been on a pub run out from an event with some MV restoration nuts.
