Painted Female Militia... My Pulp-era fumblings..29/10
« on: August 07, 2014, 01:23:36 AM »
I have decided to amalgamate all my Pulp-era figures in the same place as it makes more sense to me to do it this way.

All updates will in future be added to this thread

I have recently finished sculpting some figures of Lady 'Bunny' Baxterville and her 'friends' and will be getting them cast up shortly.

Lady 'Bunny' Baxterville and her Hounds.

Her daughter Betty.

And Lady B's  Manservant 'Finners'

Ready to investigate all manner of dastardly deeds, they are a team to be reckoned with.

I am just gauging interest if anyone would interested in acquiring a set before I go having casting done.....?

The 'list'.....

Both spiffing and tempting!

I think my collection of dangerous ladies (and their companions, both canine and human) will be expanding slightly. Pencil me in for a set, please!

Great stuff! Mainly interested in the first lady and her puppies. If you're doing more like the last one (but without tommyguns ;)) I am also very, very interested!

Thank you, Milord!
I shall start a list in the initial post so that I know how many to get cast up.

I am rather happy with her too.

I am going to have to sell them as a set.
Maybe you two want to split a set between you.
 ???

I do intend to do more in the 'working man' style but there are the Men In Bowlers to finish first.

As I have decided to combine all my Pulp-era figures in one thread for ease of finding things, I shall be adding to this thread when I have something new.

I am going to put the Men In Bowlers in here now as well.
They are still WIP at the moment, but I think that you will get the gist....

The M.I.B. (Men in Bowlers).

Another view with the rather dishevelled chap more in focus....

There are several more figures to make which will include a variety of squad members that will be utilising this 'dolly'...

the first three have begun.....

The chap at the back will be the Doctor to accompany my Nurses, but the other two will be joining the M.I.B.

Another must haves, the Men in Bowlers.

So you can put my name on the list already.

These wont be ready for a while yet, maybe a couple of months.
It wont be any longer, though, as the squad of ten is well under way.
Two are finished and the other eight are all just awaiting having arms added to them.

They will be sold as three separate packs with a discount for buying the whole squad of ten.

I am awaiting the return of my Wagon Drivers and Lady Baxterville from Griffin Moulds first, though.

Going in the mould with the Men In Bowlers will be another Bowler-wearing chap that is almost finished.
He will be the Doctor that will accompany these Nurses....

The Nurses and Doctor should be usable for a whole range of periods, from Victorian right up to WW2 and beyond.
 ;)
