Чорнобильська зона
« on: August 25, 2014, 10:44:08 PM »
Чорнобильська зона, or Chornobyl's'ka zona, or Chernobyl Exclusion Zone
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chernobyl_Exclusion_Zone

I've been experimenting with using printed paper for small items, but the resolution on my old printer just isn't good enough, so everything becomes a vague. Still, from a distance, it looks the part, and I might get a better printer someday.

I think they would add some great atmosphere on the table, very nice.

No game as of yet, I'm just building Stalker stuff to someday play a game, or use the setting as a background for a counter terrorist Force on Force game, who knows.

Andreas, Vallejo Modelling Colours Flat Brown over a white basecoat, with Iraqi Sand drybrushed on top. Edges trimmed in black.

Looks really good.  8)

If you want a higher resolution, why not just get a local copying shop to print a page or two for you - gotta be a *lot* cheaper than a new printer?! I think they only charge about £0.50 / €0.60 for a full colour A4 page here in the UK, so I can't imagine it'll be that different near you.

In theory, yes, but the village I live in has no copy shop  lol, I might be able to get a few prints in the big city, but that would involve planning and making up a whole A4 sheet of items I want to use. Not impossible, just a bit unlikely atm.

I like them.
Maybe a few stains to weather them.
