Klingon fleet
« on: August 31, 2014, 12:32:37 PM »
I finished my Klingon fleet for Star Trek Attack Wing. they come pre-painted but are not as nice as their Star Wars counterparts. Repainting them is very simple though. Just some base colors and drybrushing. I added the OSL to give them an extra dimension. Hope you like them:

Nice! That's a huge improvement over the OOB paint jobs. I'm in the process of doing the same.

Very much an improvement!

However, I'm fine with 'as is', so no repaints in my small fleets.

Wow, they look fantastic!  Ik woon ook in Nedewrland.  I have a bunch of Attack Wing stuff I never have time to play that I'm looking to sell.  Willing to make a deal! :D

I've got bits for 3 right now. I'm concentrating on Klingon and Federation though. Klingon is mostly done, but it's not quite the size of your fleet. Fed is a bit larger, but not near as far along in the repaints.

BTW, the OSL really makes those pop.

Lovely re-painting.  However I must say I don't care for the bases or the commander cards.  I'd much prefer to run something like WoG bases (90% clear plastic).  The cards and commanders really spoil the visual for me.

Nice fleet though (and I'm no Trek fan)

Gorgeous ships! I've got a bunch if Attack Wing stuff, some if which I intend to repaint.  In my opinion, the Romulans look pretty good as-is, by I can't stand that metallic green on most Klingon ships (not to mention that many if them were depicted in a grayish tone!)

The toothpaste blue/grey if the Federation ships drives me crazy, too.
