Looking for a new web page
« on: September 17, 2014, 02:24:22 AM »
The Chambers of Miniatures is a free agent!

I just found out the cable company that hosted my webpage just discontinued hosting personal web pages. Can anyone recommend a replacement host for a personal page.? Any opinion about blogspot? I am in the mid-west USA.

I used Blogger for a few years and had no issues but did get fed up with Googles unannounced 'improvements' and changes so moved to Wordpress.

Of the two blogger was simpler but more restrictive in layout options.

The advantage of both is that you can set them up FOC and close them without any issues  ;D

I use blogger and I'm quite happy with it (the improvements however always take some searching). As above I heard wordpress offers more possibilities but is also a bit more difficult to work with, note I have never used anything other than blogger.

Wordpress offers more options and control than Blogger. Blogger is also just another set of data points that Google uses to serve you "targeted" ads
