Terrify...what's the point

My Terrify trait on Akhenaten costs me 10 points. He is a close combat monster who has to run all across the table to get to my enemie's gun line, dodging marksmen and grenades, and finally he gets to do what I paid all those points for and slice the head off of some minion!

Am I right that my own Terrify trait means if said minion fails his Pluck he simply moves away with no other penalty, exposing Akhenaten to the fury of my opponents guns? And then he gets to attempt a Disengage move anyway?

He is also a great sorcerer and the Terrifying talent prevents him from being mobbed.
