Each turn both players roll a D10 for initiative.
The player with the higher roll goes first. They nominate a model to activate and roll a D10 + their "mettle" skill to try and beat the target number of 10. If they succeed they get two actions and then the player can try and activate the next model. If they fail, they only get one action and then play passes to the other player
When shooting you roll D10 + Ranged Skill + any modifiers to beat target number 10. If you succeed you cause a hit. You only roll for wounds when play passes to the other player, so you're never really sure if you've taken someone out or not.
To wound you roll an opposed test, weapon str + D10 vs opponents defense (Armor) +D10.
Melee is similar except you roll to wound right away.
The game flows quick, the post-game sequence for income and exploration is fun and the warband selections are cool and give a lot of options.
You have raiders, mutants, caravanners, preservers and lawmen.
