I progress slowly with my Lannister army for CMON GOT.

I am ready with Sandor Clagane - The Hound. He is leading my Lannister halberds in battle.

Also got HATE and my 28 mm Starks will face another foe - the wildlings!

Well, I don't paint much those days, but boy, I do play! Finally found game system that suits me well - CMON GOT.

Great game last night with my buddy Per!

He was leading pure Stark army with one Tully unit and Brynden Tullly, Eddard as general.

Mine was mixed Lannister/Clegane/Bolton with High Sparrow/Mountain that rides general.

Both forces around 80 points. Scenario - A Clash of Kings.

Starks took early lead, killing Mountain that rides (last wound was self-inflicted, rolling snake eyes on a Panic test of 3... :D ) and taking two of the 3 Objectives. So the beginning of Round 3 the result was 5 to 1 points for the Starks - future was bright for them.

But then they start to suffer, I managed to kill Eddard, Brynden Tullly, Great John, Summer and Gray wind and to take and hold all objectives on the table. Lost only Sandor.

After epic 4 hours battle, Staks left their piles of dead man on the battlefield and withdraw.

Lannister win - 12 to 8 points.

Hear me roar!!! 🦁🦁🦁

That sounds like a great game! I'd love to hear your impressions of the system. 4 hours seems like a long game compared to other reports I've read.

Hi mate,

I summed my impressions on the previous page - above the picture of Cercei Lannister.

Easy to learn system, especially by former Warhammer Battle players like me. Than it is hard to master, do not to forget that many other units and heroes are coming this month - that will give to the players more options. Also there are two relatively new fractions that I didn't faced yet - the Wildlings and the Night watch.

The integrated card system is also a nice touch and everything is quite balanced so far.

Game was longer because - 80 points is a lot, usually you see up to 50 points demo games, often 35-40. In this scenario all destroyed units come back like reinforcements, without their dead leaders - that's a lot Starks to kill. ;)

True that mate.

I was playing regularly this year but my painting modjo was gone...

Now I want to play at tournaments, so I will paint for sure my army - bonus points are important for the final placement.  :D

So, a new year started and I am back again to our beloved hobby.

First, here is a baggage mule I painted for my abandoned GoT project, I will try to resurrect it somehow.

And second, will try to create a new Nurgle based army for Dragon Rampant, starting with the trio from GW Wurmspat.

Here is the base of Ghulgoch, a joy to paint:

Happy gaming!!!

Baggage mules for the win! You can never have too big of a baggage train.

Despite photobucket being annoying, plenty of great brushwork on display. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I am happy with those painting jobs and will try to upgrade those projects at regular basis.

One day will have to replace the cracked photos, but they are way too many...

Littlefinger

Ramsey Snow and Reek (Theon)

Pycell

Bolton's Cutthroat

Test model for my Lannister Poor Fellows I made in the local GW shop with those new contrast paints of their.'s Not so good in my eyes and will stick to the normal routine with the rest.

And finally, work in progress on my Nurgle tree - great model

Have fun! If we have to stay at home due the quarantine at least we can progress with our hobby projects.  :D ;)
