Carrying Rubicon Models 1/56 hard plastics
« on: October 30, 2014, 06:28:28 PM »
We at Minairons Miniatures have decided to place our bid on the excellent model kits of this newly born brand known as Rubicon Models.
So from now on we'll start carrying their stuff at our own website - this hoping to help boosting our own 1/56 models, not surprisingly  ;)

A bit more info at this regard on this article of our blog.

Cheers,

Looks lovely and sharp detail wise, but I've still not seen any shots of the tracks that show how they handle the split lines there without compromising the look of the individual track links.

They avoid the problem entirely by casting the tracks as one piece, attached to drive sprocket, road wheels & idler, you can see in this pic of their Panther G, (you can see that only half the wheels etc are attached to the tracks, with the rest seperate - their site also has assembly instructions if you want a closer look).

Thanks but that doesn't help at all as I'm trying to see the detail on the outward face of the track links.
There is a pic on BoLs that partly shows what I'm looking for but as it's late and I'm too confused by the img. posting system on here I'll leave well enough alone, cheers !
