Cheers chaps!

So, now for a quick game of “Where’s Dredd?” ;)

I took all my wee bits of scrap plastic card over the years and rounded them of, tapering the ends with a knife. A wee bit of filing along the plastic card gives me an outline for the concrete slabs the civilians walk on. And I’ve only taking the worst of the flash lines off of the figures for quickness. After that they’ve been sprayed black all over, the white from directly above. This should mean when I’m painting them, I shouldn’t have to shade them because the shadows are created by the over spray.

This accounts for only about half of my 300 railway people I bought. There is a lot of old guys with walking sticks in there. Also there’s a bunch I can’t use which are all seated.

Edit:photos fixed.

Getting the now-ubiquitous Photobucket error on that one Andy.

That is a lot more than I have. Looks like I am gonna need more.
I look forward to seeing how the experiment comes out as that would certainly speed things up.

Looks like you need to either make a train or a 'seated travel-ator' to get some use out of them.

I have done up a bunch of those train people too. I took the really lazy way out and got the horrible prepainted ones. Gave them a wash and a highlighting drybrush.

Quoting Von Lucky:
Looking good (I added "~original" to the end of the image url)

I had better warn you that all of my earlier pictures on my OGAM thread that got the 'Original' treatment have disappeared.
Get a back up option or post direct to the LAF server using the 'Additional Options...' (It is to the lower left when posting) as yours may disappear too.

That's really looking the part Andy. How tall is that tower?

Looking good already (I quoted the post, added "~original", and enjoyed). Better than trying to teach an old dog new tricks.

Looks like you need to either make a train or a 'seated travel-ator' to get some use out of them.

My thoughts too. But please don't warm me. Ever.

Very cool idea for those crowds of spectators watching what´s going on when the Law hits the perps over in the Megacity!

Also there’s a bunch I can’t use which are all seated.

I could have a use for those if you want to get rid of them...

I was thinking of benches, but that’s too much like hard work! Na, only standing dudes for me.

It’s the speed painting part, I’m going to struggle with! I hate painting masses of troops. That’s why I’ve never taken up Napoleonics!

I have done up a bunch of those train people too. I took the really lazy way out and got the horrible prepainted ones. Gave them a wash and a highlighting drybrush.

I actually got the painted ones, but they don’t fit into my idea of what I’m looking for, so I’ve spray painted them and I’ll do the quickest, dirtiest PJ I can on them.

How do yours look after your drybrush?

That's really looking the part Andy. How tall is that tower?

It’s over a metre tall. I’ve still got another oscillating fan to make into a second one of these. Maybe with a Floateltm docking bay! ;) The plan is to have a couple of these take up the middle of the board with the smaller towers around about. Although in saying that, I’m preferring the store bought towers at the mo. :?

That's real devotion - and madness, Andy!
Fantastic!

Not really mate. The plan is for the civilians to be the main part of the scenery. My current thinking is to have them moving, blocking line of sight, around the board. Each player, each turn, would roll a dice and that’s how many they can move up to 6”. Going through civilian bases counts as difficult ground too.

Very cool idea for those crowds of spectators watching what´s going on when the Law hits the perps over in the Megacity!

I could have a use for those if you want to get rid of them...
Are they the right scale for your railway stuff? I’ll need to dig the first batch out of the rubbish. I never thought anybody would want them.

Last figure of the year. He’s a Heroclicks Blob. Cost me 50pence. He’ll be used as part of my Fattie gang....

That's a great (pun intended) sporty fattie!  :-*

Have you checked the new Gangs of Rome rules AndyM? They are free to download and have rules for the mobs, maybe you can pick something for your MC-1?

Mine ended up like this after a wash of armypainter strong tone and a quick and dirty drybrush.
