Just a heads up, new range nearing completion. This one was painted by Adam.

I really like the horse.  There are not enough standing horses out there... and a really good size, too.

This is just one of many we will release. We will offer fully armoured(6), 1/2 armoured(6), and unarmoured horses(12) with armoured lancers, armoured swordsmen, armoured archers and a command set. We have also started on an eastern Sassanid unit as well.
Very impressive.

The infantry is very compatible. The average Musketeer is perhaps a little taller than the average Aventine. I don't have the cavalry, but as I understand it the Musketeer horses are quite large.

I might be wrong about the Musketeer cavalry. In this comparison of Arabs the Musketeer are only a little larger than the Perry, which should put them in line with Aventine (assuming the Musketeer Arabs & Romans are similar size).

Thanks, Delbruck.

The Musketeer is far more chunky than the Perry, even if just a little taller.

Awesome looking! :-*

When I finish my Late Roman/Germanic project I'll hit the the 3rd Century Romans/Sassanids/Palmyrians of which for sure your range will be included! :D

Given he's obviously visiting Egypt, I'd say that's almost a Last Sassanid. :P
Very impressive paintjob, and great to see this range expanded.

The first lot of packs are now in the store.

SASS10 armoured clibanarius with lance and bow

SASS20 Moounted command 1

SASS21 Mounted command set 2

We have shown them on the default horses ie SASSH7+8 but there are fully armoured and unarmoured horses available for them, just ask for the exchange at comments section of the ordering process or drop us an email.

Cheers

Exquisitely done. Love the command packs and the half armored horses. Would like to see a fully armored version of the lamallae barding (as probably represented on the 6th century Sassanid bullae).

BTW, do the old LBM transfers fit the shields on the new clibanarii?
