I dig the armor and helmets big time.  Not sure if the huge pistol on the hip works for me though.  Not too keen on the fusion cannon, as it looks too chunky.

I'll probably get the troopers though... They'll look good in my Traveller game.

I commented on SD that what I liked most was that they looked very space marine without a hint of GW. A space gun is a space gun aint it? These are probably a lot bigger but would go nice with the Grenadier and Denizen ones of old.

Although the weapons do look similar to some GW style weapons they were sculpted from scratch and draw on the same styles and TV/Movie influences.  There are NO Games Workshop parts used in these figures.

I'm sure there weren't any GW parts used, but I think what they are getting at is that the 'fusion cannon' does resemble the GW style of plasma cannon in a more exagerrated way.

The look of the body armor and helmets is very pleasing to me because they don't remind me of anything but cool Traveller drawings from years gone by.  Even then, they have distinct helmets and weapons, other than that already mentioned.

The pistols are pretty large for my taste, and they look attached, is that the case?  Or do they come separately?

They are attached, but I think they would be fairly easy to remove if you wanted to.

Wasn't suggesting that parts from another manufacturer had been cobbled on to your own sculpts, but two of the three heavy weapons do seem to have strong resemblances to those produced by another manufacturer, and that manufacturer has been known to spit its dummy out over resemblances to its own products. Generally, I like the figures, think they would make great bodyguards/troops for the vamps in the Blade movies.
