Been making some slow progress - and not 100% sure I'm gonna go with the red "beard" though the pre-shade/hilight stages always shake the painting confidence:

Whoa!  :o

Very cool project with the conversions and all! Love them all, very characterful lot!  :-*

Will you use the "titan" as a dreadnought or a knight replacement for the 54mm squats?

Thanks. The "Knight" is primarily for 28mm squats (some of which I'll eventually post on here), although I did also like the idea of him being a dreadnaught to support the 54mm squats, if a mission or scenario would allow for it. To that end I'm trying to keep all of the bitz and gubbins on the base and model scale-generic (no skulls, etc).  I'd originally thought about putting a squished model under the raised foot of the titan, but that would look funny for 54mm gaming -- as well as having him jump off of the corpse of a dead tyranid monstrous creature(to add needed inches to his height to mirror the knight titan's 6.5" inches).

However, now that I think about it, I could possibly fairly easily magnetize a crushed enemy to the foot, so it could be removed in 54mm scale.
