New WZR Bauhaus (Marschall and Venusian Rangers)
« on: November 14, 2014, 10:27:29 AM »
OK, I know I officially called my Bauhaus troops finished (for the foreseeable future) a couple of weeks ago, but I simply could not resist the new Marschall and Rangers!

Enjoy,

Excellent work. I have a soft spot for Warzone.

I just found someone on eBay who carries the WZR line in the US. Saw a starter set unboxing somewhere online and saw dozens of cards. How are the rules?

I think there are a lot of stores in the US actually selling them now. Most are on the West Coast IIRC, but this week they even got one in Nebraska to carry the game!

Rules are good IMHO. Nice blend of 1st and 2nd Ed. elements (although it has more of a 2nd Ed. feel to me). I did a lot of demos for them at Spiel in Essen last month and many Inifinity players commented how it ip was similar in many aspects, but without the ranged combat problems of Infinity. (Whatever that means... I never played Infinity). What I really like are the cards in the advanced game which add a customizeable trading card game feel. While I usually am no big fan of TCGs, I really like the new tactical element added to the games here!
