Thanks, it was a right pain so I'm happy to see it finished.

More work on Para's

This is a standard Jeep from GHQ, they do an SAS jeep but it's very obviously SAS and not a Para jeep.

So I did a head swap on the driver and added some Adler Paras.

And loaded it with a pile of stowage

Slapped on some paint

a pair for towing 6 pounders

and a seperate pair for wandering around

Jobs a good 'un,

Milliput.

Forgive James, He spends a lot of time with little blue foam bricks.

Do you think the toxicity is kicking in?

Lovely, even more when I reassessed the size of it. The black painting for the "inside" has really been effective - for a second I thought you hollowed out the glider!

Thanks chaps. Had I used GHQ gliders I could have had some "inside" but they're too pricey in comparison with these.

The first Crimbo pressies part one: GHQ Panzer IVs, including two with turret swops and skirt armour added, although with the camo you can't really see the turrets. :/ And a captured T34-85 out of the bits box.

The T-34 features a symbol which isn't to be posted here so you'll have to click through

Gorgeous little gems of panzers...
I am getting so tempted by this thread to revisit 1/300 tanks after a 30 year absence! (I seem to be regressing to my adolescent hobby state on many fronts! ;))

Thanks chaps.

I've been looking into 6mm fantasy lately, there's some great ranges available now, especially Microworld Games in the States, and Perfect Six and Baccus in the UK.

http://www.microworldgames.com/collections/6mm-fantasy
http://www.perfectsixscenics.co.uk/warlords-and-realms.html
https://www.baccus6mm.com/catalogue/Fantasy/

One of the things I have found lacking is scenics which are fantastical as fantasy might suggest, just about everything in 6mil is quite small aside from scale. So I thought I'd have a bash at making something a bit bigger but which still wouldn't break the bank if I were to sell it.

I decided on a bridge which at the moment is around 300ft long and 90ft high in scale, early days yet, lots of detailing to add, including towers. When I add the road bed on the ramp sections either side I'll not just put them on the slope but also on the flat underside - that way it can be used as is but if you wanted to make a larger piece or a board with it bridging a chasm you can just turn it around that way.

A close up to show the detailing, and give an idea of scale. Those minis are some undercoated ones from Perfect6, the only ones I have thus far. Size wise I think it works, and although you could do similar in 28mm it'd take ages, cost a fortune and you'd have to get one of your children to live in the loft so you could store it.

Central span, also partially scribed on the other side. I'll cast from this for the other side.

Working on a small building to go on the other side of that middle bit.

Scribing the towers, exciting stuff.
