Sorry Tim, I assumed everyone knew the GZG ones. Will do a piccy once I've based my SST proxies, also do my Colonial Marines too, and have a grumble about them...  ::)

Wow those 2D6 models are superb. If only there was a decent WW2 set of rules out there

There are a LOT of ruleset for small scale ww2 aren't there?

I know of them, but I'm not at all sure of their size tbh. Failure in my 6mm upbringing I know!  ;D

Hah, I can't talk, I've only ever seen two EPIC mini's, just last year, and they were both the same.

Here's my proxy SST's (from whom I can't remember), the GZG bugs, and some Khurasan Colonial Marines who, to my eye, look a tad puny.

Interesting, somehow I imagined the bugs smaller, but this is not bad at all, the 3 a base you did makes a lot of sense that way!

On some I've managed four per base, I wanted them to have a bit of variation particularly as a swarm, tight fit though. Tempted to try some bigger more hoarde like bases. Also a couple which are more dioramic.

Got a few pieces finished as I rid myself of a touch of the lurgy. the Colonial Marines APC, Colonial Marines and Starship Troopers. I really like the APS and the Troopers, the Marines are grand of course but a trifle puny I think, but only a little.

One has the door closed, and one open, nice to have the choice...

I've done some Brigade mini's as SST jumpsuits. There was a lot of cleaning up to do on these, almost took as long to clean as paint, but work well I think.

Having a play with a CP models' Pathfinder Ranger as support for the CM's APCs. Added a few lumps and bumps, going to set the turret to the back corner like the M577s. The turret is one of a lovely pile of spares from the Vanguard Miniatures' Cybershadow Skitter Main Battle Tank set.

I'm glad that I am a steadfast man with clear values.

Because if I weren't, I would definitely start a 6mm project. Damn, that looks good!

Thanks.

Why not? Cheap, quick to do, tiny storage - can't go wrong.

Lovely work Phil, especially like the APC

Thanks.

yeah, that’s how it starts, and before you know it you’ve built an Atmosphere Processor....

It starts with some infantry and a couple of vehicles, but then I would need some terrain and while I'm at it I might have to add...

I have a very limited amount of hobby time and would like to be able to feel like I'm going somewhere with my projects. Keeping everything 15mm sci-fi ensures that even if I go on a side project, it will be usable with everything else.

But with that said: 6mm looks pretty awesome!

Thanks, of course in 6mil you could build the entirity of Hadley's Hope, you'd just need some nutter with a history of big gorgeous builds... ::)

Thanks, as a member of the cult of 6mil I'm obliged to try to convert you.  ;)

Looking good Phil - the work on the SST jumpsuits was worth it.

(I found a 6mm SYW army in the pile a few weeks ago and got sidetracked building and undercoating it. I understand the allure!)

Thanks, not sure that's a valid measurement for any of this hobby tbh...  lol

They're so nice and quick eh?
