Thanks guys.

Here's my latest, a paddock - made the fence to scale at 4mm/ft but can't help thinking it looks a little low. Scale creep eh?  ::)

And the latest house.

First things first - Beautiful, really nicely made. I had to check that it was really 6mm.

The sad thing about 6mm is although it's apparently a growth area, especially in times of recession, there's not many places to talk uniquely 6mm.
I know what you mean. I love the smaller scales. There are so much more you can do.
I have recently sold off all my 6mm stuff and decided to make 10mm my smallest (figure, not ships etc) scale. I can nearly do everything i could do with 6mm but the figures are better proportioned/detailed.
I still have some pics of my 6mm napoleonics here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/torq42/sets/72157639931042415/

Thanks.

You Nappies are lovely, I imagine the new owners are very happy indeed. I noticed you had one of the same Timecast buildings too.

It's the amount you can get on the table, and how even a dining table becomes quite a large area to travel around, even for mechanised troops.

Got the house finished:  :)

House is really nice.
You put more love of detail in your 6mm than a lot of people in 28mm.

Phil, I am really enjoying these.

I think I last played 1/300 scale tanks (NATO vs Warsaw Pact) at the fledgling Orpington wargames club circa 1980 ::)

You are damn well tempting me to have another look at micro armour!

Keep it up  :)

Thanks guys, I'm tearing through these as these were buildings were pretty much totally painted when I got them out of storage. Now it'll slow.

What is the yellow stuff on the ase?

It's a flower mix flock from http://www.realisticmodelling.com/catalog.asp?subrange=Accessories folk like Heller do similar but it's probably cheaper via that site depending on postage.

Cpt. Blood: My interest in micro armour goes way back too, it was my first wargaming thing after airfix in the 70's, pocket money prices from H&R back then - I remember how a combi motorbike and sidecar was tuppence ha'penny.  8)

Now the choice is pretty good especially with GHQ and CnC widely available.

Lovely work, Phil
 :-* :-*

You may be reminding the Captain of micro armour but these take me back to my 15mm DBA days, when the best thing was making the terrain, especially the Built Up Areas and the tiny 'Camp' sections for each army.

Thanks mate.

Started on the last of the Timecast French houses tonight, the front is rather simple, paving around 3 sides of this base,

But thought I'd do something a bit different around the back.
