Great work on the skiffs. I do have a question about the breakfast. What is the item north of the fried egg?

That is an awesome breakfast. We have a little bistro here in Austin named Full English. I haven't been but what I have read is that its run by a lady from the Isles and her husband. It has been given good reviews. I am going to go this weekend and get breakfast.

Yeah, hash browns in the UK are different to the States. I like them both for different reasons  :D

Agreed!

Plus, you can get both kinds here if you want them.  :D

Not a bad breakfast but obviously incomplete without black pudding. I'd happily trade the hash browns for black pudding (although I'd prefer both).

I like black pudding, although I prefer white (not that I can get it), but hash browns are awesome :)

I suppose that since the breakfast is mentioned in the subject line of this thread it's OK to discuss it so, this hash browns thing. Very tasty - yes. But they are an American import and quite a recent one (last 20 years) so I'm a little uneasy in including them in an full English/Scottish/Ulster Fry Breakfast.

Black puddings, on the other hand...mmmm
