Pulp Girl vs. The Great Gonga
« on: November 30, 2014, 02:38:09 AM »
We jut bought a new dino at Hobby Lobby so I had to get it on the table as soon as possible lol I didn't even do any touch ups on him yet. He'll probably get some drybrushing and touching up his scuff marks. Here's some highlights from the game me and dad played.

The Gangs of natives really didn't stand up too well to the Terror. Pulp Girl was finally able to bring the beast down with the help of the witch doctor. This was a fun game and really just had a lot of carnage lol

I do like those native huts.

Well spotted M'Lud, I must confess mine own envy as well.

Quite like those massive palms too!!

Might I inquire who makes those?

I've yet to see any scenery done by the Phipps Cartel I don't admire!!

Great Gonga the Dino do appear adept at devouring don't he just?

I do believe I've discovered why the hapless warriors remain hopelessly helpless in their efforts against The Great Gonga:

Ultra-Inviso Bases!!

Their play is obviously hampered by dragging those exquisitely landscaped bases across the table, rendering them ponderous in attack, static in defence, and sluggish in retreat, how is success possible?

"I say, what's that squishy stuff betwixt Gonga's toes?"

"Slow natives"

Clearly Ultra-Inviso Bases would provide the edge needed to defeat dino denizens.
Without Ultra-Inviso Bases ya might as well put on a RedShirt n'DIE

Good work with the alley's latest extremely perilous plot point gadget on the island.

Oh, yeah,

almost fergot...

Product Placement FTW!!

mind you I only spotted 5, or 6...

Great stuff! Wish we had a Hobby Lobby; dino pickin's are slim out here and the one you found is a killer.  :-*

I'm also curious about the big palms... Are they Pegasus?

Looks like it to me, I have some. They sure seem bigger in the pictures!

Those palm trees and jungle stands are beautiful and perfect.

I, too, would like to know their provenance.

I think Dave described them back in his terrain thread. Can't find it at the moment, but perhaps someone else can dig it up?

You'd have somebody else dig up them big ol' beootifull palm trees?

Just to see if'n they's a brand name on the base?

Da Phipps Cartel ain't gonna like that...

Ayup, those trees are from Pegasus Hobbies. They make 3 or 4 different versions. They are my favorite palms and we're even talking about buying a few more.  :D
