Temporary opening of the EBAY Board to non-Supporting Members

Hi all,

as you may have noticed, the Paypal Donate function has been deactivated for some time. While we are working on reinstituting a Supporting Member policy in the future, this means that some functions like opening Ebay Sales Threads in the Bazaar has been off-limits to non-supporting members.

For a limited time period, starting immediately, the Ebay board will be opened to all members. Please note that the usual Bazaar limitations still apply, e.g. you may only open a single Ebay thread (which you may update if you have new items), you must use the (EBAY) tag in your topic title, and you may not open threads on behalf of a third party.

Ebay topics may ONLY be posted by private individuals. Members representing a company operating an "Ebay store" to sell items on a regular basis are required to publish these on the Commercial board.

As said above, this is strictly a temporary change. Extraordinary circumstances notwithstanding, the open period will last at least until the 31st of December and may be prolonged into 2015. In any case, we will publish an according announcement in advance of any change as to give people due notice as to when the Ebay board will, again, be restricted to Supporting Members.
