BAM Hetzer 1/56
« on: September 06, 2008, 11:46:32 AM »
After painting so many Soviet AFVs it was time for a change. Time to paint another Bolt Action beauty: the Hetzer!
IMO an incredible nice vehicle kit from Bolt Action. The MG is optional. The antenna is scratch build using a piece of wire and some component glue at the bottom.

I have painted the Hetzer in the colours used by the 167. Volksgrenadier Division during the Ardennes campaign. Basically the factory applied coat of red primer with some hard edges pattern of stripes and patches in dark yellow and white that was then suitably weathered and dirtied.

Additional pic on my website...

cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - http://www.adpublishing.de

Awesome. My favorite WWII AFV done up wonderfully. I love the colors. I always associate those Hetzers with the stranger late war camo schemes with the reds, probably from a Osprey or armor book I saw at some point.
