Its a battletech bro.
Thanks Scurv, bad case of mental block and insufficient time to scrounge around the net for a memory jog.  :D

No 028 McKenzie
This is a Hasslefree Mini, HFA-049 McKenzie, sculpted by Kev White. Its always a pleasure to paint up one of Kev's sculpts. It also reminds me that I need to make a Hasslefree order!

Total elapsed painting time, about 5 hours.

No.29, Lt. Kara Black

I have had this limited edition Studio McVey resin figure assembled and primed with the odd base colour on for quite a while now the current club has prompted me to get it done. As it is a display piece I put the base on a round MDF base covered with chequer plate plasic card with Green Stuff extra goo added, I am not sure about the paint job on the goo, I may redo this.

I take it that means DUST is out?

As I understand their concept a future war from the past...

Not that I have the least interest in playin', mind ya,
Just happen to have a a coupla walkers I'd planned to re-paint & re-purpose.

If that's taboo then I'll certainly seek something else.

Perhaps a scary scaly critter ripped straight from a '50s B&W 2 reeler...?

Valerik

Like this Paintin' Club stuff, just havin' trouble timely finishin'...

Yes, DUST is pretty much straight in the Weird Wars camp, so please save that for the Weird Wars painting club.

Seconded, and Ditto - I have a mini in the works, but I have about 10 I would have liked to get done for this; with this speed, though, I'll probably have to settle for 1 or 2....  :o

No.30, Matt Black, 2050s Sprawlganger

Matt is a slightly converted 25mm Grenadier Shadowrun figure - his puny switchblade was removed and replaced by a Foundry MP5. His eyes are meant to look like blue optic implants.  :?
He is a new addition to my street gang for games of Firewall 2136AD from Wessex games. I haven't painted for months, and doing this figure for this painting club has really got me excited about painting again!

Lovely stuff. I'm going to have to pull my finger out and finish something for this over the weekend.
