Hello Grimm, if you're interested in the file, write me a PM and we'll work something out ;)

I mean, pretty much all the resin castings I have bought from people have needed cleaning up and filling and whatnot, so...

Thank you for the encouragement, I'm confident I will manage to make a better mold. I'll keep you updated ;)

New pictures from the new casts and moulds of the tank's main body.

They turned out a lot better. There are still some miscast details now and then, but overall I'm happy how they turned out. Insted of trying to mould the full model like before, this time I printed two separate parts - one for the upper half and another one for the bottom. They overlap about a third of the way, so I could simply insert the second part of the model into the first half of the mold for creating the second half of the mold.

Now I still have to do the turret and tires and it's done.

Long time no post - again :D
The past year was rather busy. I finished by master's degree, celebrated our wedding and started a new job which involves 2,5h of daily commute. So while I did find some time now and then to paint and craft, I didn't really bother to post anything.
But now that the year is coming to an end, things are slowing down and I thought it's about time for a couple of updates on the project.

First up are 6 more XCom Operators and a 3D printed APC (available for free on Thingiverse). The latter is obviously supposed to be a Space Marine Rhino, which to me doesn't fit the bill for Xcom, but it's a really nice model and was a lot of fun to print and paint.

Nice APC.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Loving the APC. I must resist the urge to get a 3D printer...
