Well, I decided to go for a militant angel.  I went to my FLGS and had them order this massive piece of lead.

Should be here in a couple weeks.

The Plastic Decurion from ExIllis was tempting, but the details were a bit soft in places and I had store credit at the FLGS. Thanks for all your help and advice!

Rafm has Angels. I think by Bob Murch.

Mirliton has this praying paladin:

If you don't believe in lead, you're already dead.

Mirliton has this praying paladin:

Thanks for the reminder, I think I have that figure from when it was made by Grenadier. I'm pretty sure I have the whole pack of knights he came with.  I also have at least 5 of the similarly armored knights on horseback from the Grenadier Historical range. They're one of the batches of figs I'm considering painting up for this OGAM army.

These 2 Tom Meier angels have been around since the 80's but are still some of the best out there!
Definately worth a look.

The FLGS (Games Plus) got my Reaper "...Aurelius" in.  I think it's going to be a rather intimidating figure to paint, but I hope to get to it soon.  The wings will clearly either need pinning or epoxy and I'm not sure how I'll store it.

This warband is going to be made mostly of traditional fighting men, but through this thread, I was reminded of the various religious type of minis I've got unpainted.  old GW metal Flagelants, monks, praying palidin, some clergy members, etc.  Maybe I need to work up two warbands...

Honestly I feel like writing up a OGAM Christian list now. Arch-angel "gods" angel and Saint legends and knights and other mortals. Sounds like a really juicy source to work form.  :D

Nope. I finally picked up my Aurellius and I have all the other necessary minis, but I've been busy with other projects.  It doesn't help that we haven't played much OGAM since then.  :(

No worries there.  I'm enough of an attention hog that all my gaming projects get blogged and posted!

We've got a summer Song of Blades campaign coming up and while I don't think I'll have the time, an Ecclesiastical group would be a cool change from my former animal people and Chaos Marauder warband.
