I'm not getting good pictures tonight and it's a shame because I'm particularly proud of this figure. Lord Volstratos from the WSD Dick Garrison line. If anyone is listening, we really need some winged men for this guy to command...

Superb painting! I´m not too fond about that type of "golden age S&F", preferring the more "austere" Blake and Mortimer-ilk, but that figure looks pretty nifty, guv.

Golden Age sci-fi grows on you quickly. Tomorrow when I'm at my work computer, I'll give you the bookmark to a gallery of old pulp sci-fi covers. They'll get your heart pumping, unless you're a zombie.

Marc, he's fantastic! Great job on the skin tones and the wings.

Any ideas about game stats?

The miniature looks great.
I like his feathers a lot.

Aren't there some Hawkman Heroclix available? Might match up...

Great painting, BTW!

Here's the link to the classic Pulp sci-fi covers. If that doesn't make you want to break out your Rocket Racer and your Illudium Q-35 Space Modulator, you need to check yourself for a heartbeat and breathing.

Nice cover! But those are still rather down-to-earth spacers, if you excuse the pun... no wings needed for those, good Captain!

Y´know, I love chrome-plated nuclear rocketships as much as the next man, but winged Vikings... ah well. Not my cup of tea.

He's going to have a ray gun and club (natch). Besides 'Flight', he'll have 'Dive Attack'  'High Strength x2' 'Power Attack' and 'Iron Will'

Anyone who plays him with a really good Brian Blessed voice will gain an extra hero point
