Star Wars Miniatures from WoC
« on: December 14, 2006, 10:40:49 AM »
Hello Everyone:

Iīve been an Star Wars fan since 1977, when I first saw ANH... Said that, the idea of WoC with their miniatures game appealed me until I saw the poor painting jobs of their miniatures, and the cheap plastic they use...

I remember the works of Agis Neugebauer with some of these miniatures, and also the works of Prof with some Heroclix miniatures and I wondered if any one the members of the forum have worked in repainting these minis or know about some site with re-painted SW miniatures...

Instead of re-painting the cheapo plastics I'd buy the original West End Games pewter miniatures and paint them...
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

@Kurgan... I already know Agis work... I wondered if there were more examples like those

There are also the new Knight Models miniatures. They look fantastic, but will cost you a small fortune and are not meant for gaming. The pieces are a bit fragile and they're a pain to put together.
