Thanks, everyone! Don't worry about Dakota. Like Indy, he is often down, but never out for good...!

What a superb grand finale to your games!  :-* ....and as always, you have such fantastic scenery, it must have been a real pleasure to play on that board.  :-*

Thanks again, everyone. Gary, I will remind the guys tonight how lucky they are to be able to participate in my games...ha, ha!  lol lol lol

The best news is I will actually get to play one of these days. One of my players is going to take up the story and run a series of games that picks up where I left off. We're spreading the gospel, Mr. Phipps, converting the masses...!

That's awesome! I know the feeling. I tend to get lassoed into running the games far too often, so it's even more fun when I just get to play.  :D :D

Here at home I do the game running, that's one of the reasons (Among many.)it's so much fun to play at Peabody's place!  I can just be a player! :)

Yeah, and guess what else that means? I get to design and paint up a new league for me to play! Since we're doing the Leader/Sidekick/Ally thing, here's what I'm contemplating:

Dr. Guiseppe Valentino, Professor of Archeology at Ohio State University (Leader)
-- second generation Italian-American, short and relatively squat. Dr. Valentino doesn't project the image of the dashing hero, but is tough and wiry in a fight. Prefers working in the field over academia. Rules are merely guidelines to the doctor. He believes that a valid goal and end result justifies less than legal means, though he stops at casual murder or brutality. Guiseppe is a good man. He just thinks that the current rules aren't always well thought out and intentioned.

Suriyothai, Dr. Valentino's, ahem, Woman-servant (Sidekick)
-- named by her Thai parents after the legendary warrior queen, Suriyothai met Dr. Valentino when he was excavating the ruins of Ayyuthaya, Thailand. She fell ill with a normally fatal fever while employed on the dig, and the doctor used his own resources to nurse her back to health. She has pledged her life to serving and safeguarding him in repayment of the debt. Tall and imposing, she is an intimidating presence -- much like her legendary namesake.

Jimmy Klepcyk, Graduate Student and Dr. Valentino's assistant (Ally)
-- Jimmy is Dr. Valentino's constant companion and assistant. He has the "gift of gab," and can finagle many things that the more blunt and direct Dr. Valentino is unable to obtain. He always carries a camera to document each stage of a dig or expedition. Jimmy can be pesky and annoying, but his persistence makes his work invaluable to the doctor.

The figures are now primed and ready for their first colors on my desktop!

I like the sound of your new league, Mike. Are you going to reveal which miniatures you are using yet?

I too am very curious about these minis!

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Okay, at risk of scooping the post I was going to make with the league and stats, here are the minis -- just finished today!

Dr. Guiseppe Valentino, Leader

Suriyothai, Sidekick

Jimmy Klepcyk, Ally

I'll post the league and abilities in another thread, soon. Thanks for your interest...!

Really nice! Love the minis choices. Seems Suriyothai has gotten her hands on some very high-tech weaponry.  lol

Looks great and sounds fun :)

I read a bit on your firstcommand page, are you planning on going to GenCon this year?
