@Argonor, I've got the dancing giril to. She's got an extremely dynamic pose.

I just wish, I could paint her up that way  :-I

Apologies for hijacking this thread somewhat, but since looking at Tom's site, I think I've found my perfect Smaug:

  :-*

$40.00 - not too bad, especially considering the prices at GW, whose dragons aren't really suitable IMO.

It depends on shipping, I suppose.

He's a much more fierce looking dragon than the GW one.

How are you going to do the gemstone armoured belly?

Though I'm not that much into skinhead girls I must admit I like the "dark" style of this figure. Tom did again an outstanding work.
"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

I was thinking either quite coarse sand glued on then painted, or maybe try crushing some small pieces of glass, both transparent and coloured, down to very small pieces, to get a jewelled effect. I have some coarse seaside sand which is very translucent and almost jewel-like, so maybe small dabs of  green blue and red washes might work.

The coarse sand would probably be easier, but the glass might look better, if it works.

Something to ponder on, whilst I save up  ;)

I think you'll see the glass get all white it you grind it down, but try it!

Thank you! They were received  favourably in the LPL2, if I remember correctly.
