As everything else you do, a great paintjob!

Like the Op, I would let the colour sceme depend on the heraldics of the army.

Personally, I would have used more brass/copper for the armour, but thats just my 'dwarven preference'.

I also would prefer a slightly 'lighter' tone of fur - but then again, I've never painted a mammoth!

Don't take it as critcism, it was just what came to mind at a first glance - as I haven't seen the model 'in the flesh' I couldn't really tell if it looks a bit different under 'normal' daylight or electrical light (I bet it does, my photographs of minis are NEVER quite 'natural').
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

I love this! The fur is simply brilliant! I love the character of the entire huge fig! the armour looks good! Man, what a project to take on, looking forward to seeing it finished!

Wow! Really super!  I won't have patience to do such a large mini (or should that be maxi?)

This is the ONE!  Forgeworld - phuh! All rotted flesh and scars and yuck!!
The dwarven mammoth is at least a "real" one!

One question...I got one myself 2 days ago and when I started putting it together I noticed a "square" (wood) piece with two cuts and a small hole and have no clue where to put it!? Any idea?

PS funny enough, on my mammoth they cut off the stone it is standing on...
otherwise an awesome bigature.
