Alright, here we go! Just found some time to shoot a couple of pics and wanted to upload to picolodia as usual, but right now this service is down for unknown reasons. So I had to create a LAF gallery first and try to link the photos from there ... Sadly I can't find a way to link from the gallery directly to this topic, so the good old way of copy and paste of the picture url must help.

That's how the mine is looking now - painting finished, water running, only the miniatures have to be painted and included to their places:

This is my favourite view currently, as all the rubble, rock formations and grit came together quite nicely and look fairly realistic. At least from my perspective ...  ;)

Two more details of the Laundry and the place where the water comes out of the Long Johns and the gold is washed out with the pans (hopefully ...  :))

Stage coach and horse team has also been finished including varnishing, base was sanded but is still unpainted. Driver and guard plus some baggage is finished and just waiting to be glued onto the coach, but I wil do this only after painting the base as the group is already heavy enough for handling.

So, two weeks to Crisis, I guess I won't have major problems finishing this project in time. There are only four more figures to paint, then everything will be firmly glued to their positions and some smaller detail pieces added. Next instalment in this small series will be the last one - see you then!

I love the paint scheme. And the Long John with it's somewhat patched look is perfect.

The rubble and stone looks stunning, very realistic.
I love the water, especially at the gold pans. Love the smooth rocks in the water flow.

Wow... certainly you're not go to PLAY with that?

I'd mount it in a showcase and it would never see a tabletop in my lifetime.

Great work.

Absolutely stunning work!!!  :-* :-* :-*
As "Ray Rivers" said it should rather go in a showcase than on a tabletop ...  ;)

Can you tell me if the tree and the laundry are from Minddragon/Snapdragon Studios???

Can't find any superlatives that haven't been used yet, but it is just amazing. Painting is exceptional and realistic too. If I come to crisis, can I buy this model afterwards?  ;D
