A battle loosely inspired by Agnadello
« on: February 02, 2015, 08:07:02 AM »
First game of 2015. A Pike ans Shotte battle of French horde vs gallant group of Venetian mercs in 15 mm.

Run with Warlord games Pike and shotte system battle of 20 rounds took us from 15.30 to 20.30 with some rules checking after a long break from this particular system.

Numerically and partly qualitatively superior French army attacked the rearguard of Venetians in three successive waves and got its nose bloodied. Venetians did take quite a beating too, but counting the odds we called it a Venetian victory. Lords of Signoria back in Venice might not be of same opinion of Alvianos performance.
