More pics of the shanty town project as it nears completion. I also added some pics of a generator and power pylon I made to go with it. The generator and pylon were made to look like Quantum Gothic's stuff, which at the time was unavailable (they seem to have since gone back into business, which means I will be picking up their generator-which is smaller but still cool as hell).

Lovely work. Orks , Crimson fists and rustic buildings looks like your all set for the Rogue Trader Battle of the Farm.

Thanks! Indeed, that is one of the games I am gearing up for. I need to finish building and painting a Pedro Kantor model first and I want to work on a few items to use for the farm, but otherwise I am ready to go.

When I do that, I'll definitely post the AAR.

Hello folks,

Been a while since I was able to finish much in the way of my Orks, but last week I finished up a mob of Killa Kans. Here are some pics. I like the kits a lot. They are pretty easy to put together and they do allow for a fair amount of variety with weapons and details. I like them a lot. I also put together the Stompa I got from my wife for my birthday.

Also, a little post on some Valentine's and birthday presents I gave to the wife this year.

  • Ahhh, Crap.
I just got into 40k and have been using your posts here as a guide. I just hope when mine come in, they look half as good as yours!

Thanks guys! Glad they have inspired Miantanomo. I'll keep posting as they come along. What force are you building?

Next I want to paint the Stompa even though I really don't need it yet, but I want to play a "raid on the Stompa" site soon...

Building a force of space Wolves. I bought some Chaos Space Marines too. The Wolves would need someone to fight.  ;)

Cool! Hope to see some pics once you get started  :)

I did a quick update on the shanty town. This time some barricades for cover and clutter.
