Narrowed it down to a choice of two things...

Just ordered the first set of materials... ;)

I'm going to do some shopping after I leave the office :)

Btw, in which area of the forum we are to start our progress threads for the contest?

Slight gallery wordage change, doesn't effect the rules, just making things a bit clearer (hopefully)  :)

Could I possibly have a ruling please?  I have an idea but I don't know if it's too tenuous?  I want to build something that I will use, otherwise it's time best spent on what I'd planned to do.

Is a meat cold storage facility too far removed from the ice theme? I was going to have it with exaggerated ice effects to highlight the cold. It will be a nice bit of terrain for zombie,  modern and Pulp gaming.

If it's too far removed then I'll come up with something else.

Cheers

I'd say a fridge is perfectly within the spirit of the build....but then I am not in charge... :D

Yes, it's that nice Mr Bibbly in charge,  you know the one, he does those lovely scratchbuild models.  :D

I wasn't sure if it was icey enough. My original idea was an exploding Acw cannon, so that's my fallback

I'm in! Don't have an idea just yet, but I'm well overdue to "get back in the game" in terms of physical productivity, so this'll give me a good external excuse reason.

*Edit*- Okay now I have too many ideas. Would it be weird/unlawful if I started my thread with a poll?

History viewed from the inside is always a dark, digestive mess, far different from the easily recognizable cow viewed from afar by historians.

That's sounds good...when I sat down to think about this I actually came up with a very short list. Having abandoned my snowy wastes project and not wishing to go back I have focussed on 'Fire'.

Assuming my project gets the green light from James its going to be quite big (about 1 metre long and quite tall), the real issue will be building it in a very short period of time. I then of course have to find somewhere to store it...

Can you guess what it might be??

Cheers James!

Giles, I can only wonder what you might be doing with a metre of burning cork! Flaming cliffs?
