Aww, that's a pity, it was great  :'(

Rudi, to add insult to injury I can;t even start on the thing for a week or so! THis should be fun...

As it looks now, it'll be several weeks before I'll be able to finish mine, so: no hurry, no worries...  :D

Here is an one of my old models of a steam powered airplane.  A William Henson Aerial Steam Carriage built to the scale of 1/300th or 1mm = 1foot.

See Blog September 19th - Steam Airplanes.

Now, that's more up my alley! (be it that I'm building a 28mm version...)

What are it's dimensions, Tony? It looks pretty big for a 1/300 model - based on what I'm assuming is a 1cm grid on the cutting mat  :o  I'm betting you could transport a steam-tank or two inside it.

It certainly is a lovely model and would be spectacular in 28mm  :D

Blogger is playing up today.  I had included the dimensions, but they are now missing of the post and I cannot access the most upto date post to ammend.

The steam carriage is 80mm long, 130mm wingspan and the carriage is 12mm tall.
