So friends have twisted my rubber arm into playing Infinity, not that it took much twisting because the sculpts, rules and setting have interested me for several years now. It's a future universe that's much more cyberpunk/anime and high tech than the boring skullz/Goffik/grimdark/skullz'n'more skullz seen in other game settings.
The regular group we game with has a good selection of mostly urban terrain - lots of shiny laser-cut MDF and some home-made stuff too. We're lacking smaller urban scatter terrain to block long lines of fire and add interest to our tables, though, so I decided to start in on some planters and other related small to medium sized scenery pieces to add to our urban battlegrounds.
Best part is, so far it's all been a "use up the scrap and offcuts" sort of terrain project. Turns out I had a ton of usable mounting board offcuts in my "flat materials" bin, and some foamcore leftovers too.
The largest piece so far is 6"x3.5", mostly because that's the largest piece of scrap foamcore available. The rest is all mounting board. It's raised enough that most figures won't be visible/targetable from the far side, and the tall endwalls, stairs and planters should make it an interesting piece during an Infinity game.
The smaller planters are 4" long, 1" wide and 2" tall at the endpoints; once I worked out the basic pattern they're fast to make. I'll probably do at least another two in that style, just to help tie a whole board together visually a bit more.
