lovely paintwork as usual. shame the way they are doing things. do they not realise what market there is for decent 28(32)mm Star Wars models if sold in useful packs not the odd figure with some rules for nearly GW prices  >:(

I wish someone decent would get the license - not that FFG are bad, I love X-Wing (despite the cost of the models) but if they released say stormies and rebs, 10 to a box, £25-30, well, I'd be skint (well, more skint if that is possible to be!  lol )

Lovely paint work and pretty good models for bendy plastic by the look of them.

Smashing PJ...
again  8)

quick question : I directed a friend to this thread and he asked what brand & color you use on your bases.
(My guess USA earth by Valejo ?)

Thanks,

That doesn't differ much from my bases, although I like to start off with german camo brown before putting on an earth tone. And iraqui sand is definitly my color of choice for desert bases.
Anywho, a friend who picked up painting after a decade of inactivity will be pleased as he really loved that brown tone for the bases edge. 8)

I love the red of that guard (maybe some Star Wars scholar knows that, but how come they're called Royal Guard when they're guarding the Emperor ?) :)
Those minis sure look very nice, I'm so tempted to get that game now...

I assume the Imperial Stormtroopers have a minus 1 on their shooting (as, in the movies, they rarely seemed to hit anyone).

Heavy Storm Trooper - head from FFGs Imperial Assault, body by Dreamforge

I really like the old look of the Heavy Troopers, very fitting for the Old Republic era IMO.

FFGs Imperial Assault minis with two conversions based on Dreamforge minis.
