Prof. James Moriarty

Prof. Moriarty, 28 mmm from Black Pyramid Gaming. This mini is awesome! I think the sculptor really captured the menace of the Prof. in the face and posture. He's from the Reichenbach Falls set. I'm finally getting a chance to paint some of my Holiday haul of lead.

I like the gaunt look you gave his face.

The paint job came out equal parts Moriarty, the Tall Man from the Phantasm movies and the preacher from Poltergeist 2. A little dark brown wash goes a long way. Too far sometimes , I had to go back and paint back in flesh tones because after the wash the fig looked like a coal miner at the end of shift. Thanks for the kind words.

A rare photo of the Prof. and his associates, on holiday at the Alamo.

Nice group shot.  A worse set of bounders, rotters, thugs and ruffians I've rarely seen (and I mean that as a compliment !).
