Some Lost World Beasties...
« on: February 15, 2015, 06:37:14 PM »
...I've recently picked up for IHMN.

They are all Schleich toys and readily available in UK toy shops. Several more pics on my blog.

To get the proper T-Rex effect, you'll want to pick up the Collecta and Papo ones too. They all fit together incredibly well. My only issue is fending my kids away from mine.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Ha! I know what you mean...I play IHMN with my 8 year old son so he's okay but my 5 year old daughter wants nothing more than to join in! Will definitely check out Collecta and Papo, cheers.

This is the Collecta one:

And the Papo ones:

My 7 year old daughter mostly wants to use my scenery for her dolls to play in but my 2yr old son believes dinosaurs should stomp around on everything going Raaa! Can't fault either of them to be honest :)

I had to buy the Collecta one straight away. Great pose. The Papo ones are on the -to-buy' list. Great recommendations, cheers!

No problem, the Collecta one is the only one that doesn't have a moveable jaw but yeah, gotta love that roaring pose.

Nicey - I just bought a Papo Dilophosaurus by mistake (!)  - well, sort of by mistake  :D - and am well-pleased with it, barring the CE mark on its belly.

I've also been thinking about picking some Dilophosaurus up...and giving them the ability to spit blinding poison like in Jurassic Park.  :D

So I went a bit dinosaur mad...

...and picked up more Schleich and Papo T-Rexes!

The Papo ones definitely have the edge!

Despite the cool pose I didn't like it as much as the others and didn't think it fit quite as well, so I returned it. I figured five was more than enough!  ;D But thanks for the heads up on the Papo ones!
