NWA Empire of the Dead Campaign 2015
« on: February 21, 2015, 06:49:29 AM »
"F*ck the Police!"

Wrong NWA, sorry. Last night Nunawading Wargames Association began our Empire of the Dead campaign. Some pictures here, hopefully some Faction shots, background and AARs to come.

Gotta brag here, Brian Braddock, my Knight Marshal, makes short work of an enemy Graf.  :D

Thanks to Fuzzy for the pictures.

Lots of new buildings - who's putting those together?

A very fun game, My Hell Division versus a Chinese themed Gentlemen's club. The fortunes in the game swung back and forth but in the end my Boys in Blue got a solid pasting. Luckily none of them died so besides not making many schillings for the campaign I can keep going and learn how to play these guys effectively.

One thing to remember.... Sawn off shotguns are nasty!

Cheers
Fuzzy
Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly
down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red
Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture,
torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals.

I played a small intro game with a prospective new player yesterday; he played my Lycoans and I my Holy Order. The game was fun and a good demonstration of the core mechanics, but I forgot to take any photos of the game itself.

Here are some shots of the factions and my wip Necropolis table.

Pictures would have been great. I forgot how cool & unusual your Lycon faction is.

What figures did you use for your kights?
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

The blue one is a Reaper figure not sure about the other.

Great looking games looks like your club is having great fun with this game. Watching your faction grow is the best part of this game. I like your necropolis board but I think it could use some more cover to give the swords fighters more of a chance against the rifles.
The steam handsomes are fantastic :P!

Great viewing.  Thanks for posting.  Like Rob (aka kidterminal), I really like the steam cab... really a neat idea.  Richard

A few more games played on Friday night, the players are really starting to get into the elements of the campaign system and advancing their factions.
