      Loving the figures I have just bought some Boot Hill Mexicans could I ask which paints you have used especially the blue

Steve the blue in these particular photos is the deep blue triad number 20 from Foundry, though these were painted a little while back.
My go to dark blue now is another Foundry triad number 111 Union blue a darker colour, whichever you decide to use they can both be used straight from the pot.

What really finishes them off though is a couple of coats of this varnish, I cannot sing its praises enough
