RIP to the man :(.

I guess he is boldly going...

He had a good innings and will be fondly remembered for such classics as his role as Spock, his song about Hobbits and more recently, his adverts for Mercedes(?) where he teams up with the new Spock and puts the young upstart in his place.

A sad day :(

Very sad.

Was such a big part of my growing up, on TV, movies and all the rest he did.

The new guy is ok but he is only copying the original.... :D

Who will be missed.
What else can we say but:

Quite a career, going from a little known character actor, to one of the most recognizable characters in TV history. Really affected many lives. And seems to have stayed a nice guy through the whole thing.  RIP.

Yes, he also narrated one of my favorite shows as a kid: "In search of..."

Cheers,
Fred
Yes! Possibly the spookiest thing I've ever seen, that show. Something about the cinematography and his narration.

I personally will always remember Mr. Spock’s timeless wisdom that was his logic, “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few… or the one.”

May your spirit race among the stars now, Leonard Nimoy, as surely and as easily as Mr. Spock will always travel among them in our imagination thanks to you.

his song about Hobbits

I've forgotten all about that. For those that have never heard it just youtube it and you'll see him in a different light.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass....and I'm all out of bubblegum. No wait I've just found another pack in my back pocket. Mmm tropical fruit bubblicious.

I noticed The Big Bang Theory ended with an acknowledgement of how much the show, and the participants personally, owed him.
