Britanan Army for Relics
« on: February 28, 2015, 07:37:35 PM »
I think this is the right section for Relics stuff. Anyway going to a Relics Tournament in Worcester end of March and its given me a kick in the butt to get an army built and painted for it. So far this is January and February work. There are some Dragoons and Heavy Dragoons sitting currently on the paint table to get done by 29th March :D Composition of the army is not quite set in stone yet.

Commander a Royal Arcanum Guard

Company Sergeant Majors (I'll only be taking the one of these but whilst I was doing one I may as well have done the other two I had :) )

Six strong Trooper Company

Grenadier Company 1

Grenadier Company 2

Looking good - I like the bases too (those greens go well with the reds).

I just got this picture of Paul Revere riding through the night yelling: "The Puppets are coming! THE PUPPETS ARE COMING!"
Now that that is out of my system, the Little Stitched Together Red Coats are COOL, CHARMING, & BEAUTIFULLY painted. They're just the Lads to gun down H. C. Anderson's Steadfast Tin Soldier. VERY WELL DONE!
I'd NEVER join a club that would have me as a member.  G.Marx

I love these figures, but none of my group would go for it, which is a shame. Nice job on them.

Great looking puppets!  I've long considered diving into Relics (and it's still in the cards), just haven't due to the usual suspects (time, money, opponents...).

They look great, good luck at the tourney!

are there different versions of the Sgt Majors or did you convert?
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

Sorry had one of 'those' weekends with poorly kids.

Thanks everyone I hope to get to more tournaments and get a few friends involved. Plus If I get the armies painted up its easier to get a game in with someone.

There are two Company Sergeant Major figures they have separate hands so you can equip them however you like (game terms it doesn't matter). Its nice as some of the hands can be used to convert the troopers so if you have more than one unit you can have even more variety.

Cavalry are the next part of the force.

Heavy Dragoons

The Dragoon at the front has hands from the CSM sprue with a trimmed down rifle and new arms made from putty and wire.

Can't decide on what colour todo the plumes still. Grey is the current top choice. Didn't do much last night so stuck together a pair of Banished Knights. New mercenery units for Relics
