RECRUITS battle report
« on: September 25, 2008, 06:57:43 PM »
Hi everybody,
Thought I'd post a short battle report from the RECRUITS convention that happened a couple of weeks ago.
Despite tornado sirens going off everywhere people braved the storms only to get gunned down in the streets of Lesterville.
The scenario went thusly:
The notorious outlaw Johnny One Leg was finally captured by the Law. He waited alone in the jail for the hangman's noose. But, unknown to Johnny, help was on the way, (and death, too). His loyal gang was here to spring him. So too, were 3 other gangs.
El Guapo wanted Johnny alive. He had a date at the church with El Guapo's sister. Seems Johnny was south of the border several months back and left El Guapo's sister "in a family way". Johnny is going to make her an honest woman.
The other two gangs, the Longriders and the Dixons want Johnny dead, but the Marshal is there to keep all of them away, so Johnny can hang in the morning.
The Marshal (run by  my 7-year-old named Marshal) was dead by turn 2. His men fought valiantly, and managed to turn the streets outside the jail into rivers of blood. On the south side of town, the longriders got into a prolonged gunfight with Chief Yellowknnife and his tribe.
El Guapo and his gang were more cautious and managed to take few casaulties as the game progressed. But, after the last of the Marshal's men went down, Johnny was sprung. He was able to almost make it out of town before a long range shot from the Longriders took him down.
