I lurk a lot more than I post, so haven’t updated this thread for ages. I’ve been working on this project again recently, in good time to put some games on next year.

Recently finished the Carabineros’ armoured support, a Bilbao armoured car. Second time painting it as the first attempt came out as a right dog’s dinner. Need more practice at armour.

On my hols so I dug back over photos between 2016 and 2019 posts: Carlist militiamen and support, and a mounted Carabinero conversion. Probably painted 2017, I’ve been on and off this project awhile!

As my most consistent project over 6? Years, I think I’ve finished:
20 Carabineros with support
25 Requetes with support
20 Nationalist Infantry with support
15 Internationals Brigades
Handful of militia

I should do some group shots, all these odds, sods and trios add up over the years.

Thanks for the kind comments all. More progress this week: International Brigades LMG team and finally got around around to doing a couple of flags from Flags of War. Republican forces looking a little more colourful now.

Phyllion, excellent work on all the SCW figures you’ve done over the years.
Good colours and clean painting very nice, but to be able to paint half as well as that!

Lovely figures, full of character, and your painting style does them full justice. The SCW looks ideal for the Chain of Command rules.
